This is your Journal is a participatory publication created from content and submissions received in the mail via a series of public prompts. We collect your words, works, objects, images and experiences. It is composed entirely from content submitted by its participants...that means you!
We are the crossroads of DIY-culture, storytelling and printed matter, both visual and lingual.
why
We are surrounded by tabloid nonsense that dilutes our senses to the point where we can no longer filter out what is valuable content. Everyday we are exposed to thousands of images and voices from the media that controls us. This is your Journal is an exploration of what you deem as valuable content.
It is up to the participant's interpretation. We prompted the general public to submit content to a publication that they know nothing about. We asked for your images, words and experiences. The following zine is a sample from our experiment. It is a sample of what, and what not a publication you control can be. Our future is up to you.
